Some time ago i volunteered my artistic services to a guy on YouTube that was looking artists to work on a small project.

Although i do not know what name the project has been given the idea is to tell stories in and around the original Transformers movie. David, the guy who came up with the project, wanted to show his interpretation of what happened to some of the characters in the movie that either received little or no screen time.

It's kind of similar in alot of ways to the Mosaic project but without the single page restriction and with the stories being written by one person.

Anyway in this piece (which is a single page entry) Unicron swats Cybertron and takes out Shockwave in the process. The dialogue is a narrative from Shockwave about how he has never known fear until now! Then he gets squashed ... then in the last panel comes the reveal, and yes it is meant to be identical to the 2nd last panel.

When this gets coloured i'll be able to reveal the full dialogue.

On this piece i went out of comfort zone again! Unicron was definitely a challenge to draw, as was the snap shot of Cybertron there in panel 1. I seriously need to invest in a set of French Curves as i drew Unicrons wings free hand which is why they look a little funny! Shockwave himself could be a little better drawn too for that matter.
